LVMH-owned beauty and fragrance house Guerlain has revealed a new natural formula for its best-selling Terracotta bronzer.
It launched in worldwide travel retail today.
Guerlain revealed the new product innovation during a virtual press conference which was attended by Guerlain Chief Sustainability Officer Cécile Lochard, Guerlain International Marketing Director for Makeup Isabelle Hébant and LVMH Director of the Research Development Department Brigitte Noé.

Guerlain’s Terracotta bronzer has been reformulated with 96% naturally-derived ingredients. The new bronzer formula creates a natural bronzed effect and luminescent shimmer which fuses seamlessly with the skin.
It has been infused with natural Moroccan Argan oil, which has been sustainably-sourced from ethical cooperative, the Targanine network. The cooperative also safeguards natural resources on Moroccan land and creates employment opportunities for the local community.
The Terracotta bronzer also features an updated brush, designed to enhance the bronzer’s fusion with the skin. It is available in three shades: light, medium and deep which are each available in cool and warm undertones.
The Terracotta campaign was shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø and stars Portuguese Model Sara Sampaio. It is set amidst a sunny desert landscape, which served as Guerlain’s original inspiration for the Terracotta bronzer in 1984.
The new bronzer formula reflects the French beauty house’s commitment to using a minimum of 90% natural-origin ingredients across its makeup portfolio.
