Grab & Go: Desigual introduces new travel retail furniture concept

Desigual has developed a Grab & Go furniture concept designed to increase sales of its accessories and bags in travel retail.

Desigual introduces its Grab & Go furniture concept, tailor-made for travel retail.

The two self-service units aim to highlight gifting and exclusivity through increased product visibility and a “more intelligent” use of space. Desigual claims the furniture can offer increased return on investment (ROI) of every square metre and expects the new units to open opportunities for new listings.

The new display units cater for both the larger Desigual bags and (below) smaller accessories.

The oak and stainless steel units are fire-resistant and varnished white. The smaller unit is designed for accessories such as purses and scarves while the larger piece can hold bags and backpacks. Both offer storage space.

The furniture will be available in travel retail from the end of April.
