Global Exchange wins three-year contract at Moscow Domodedovo Airport

RUSSIA. Global Exchange has been awarded a three-year contract to operate four bureaux de change at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

The foreign exchange services company said the contract win was in line with its expansion plans in Russia.

Expansion plans: The openings will take the number of branches Global Exchange operates in Russia to eight

The first two branches will be inaugurated during June and will be located in Terminal 1 (one in arrivals and one in departures).

The other two branches will open in September, once the construction of Terminal 2 is completed.

“The opening of these branches is key for us due to its coincidence with the World Cup,” said Global Exchange President Isidoro Alanís.

“These new branches will be equipped with our latest technological developments, such as the ‘customer screen’ that will allow us to serve customers in their own language.”

Domodedovo is the second largest airport in Russia in terms of passenger traffic. It handled over 30 million passengers in 2017, including 13.7 million international passengers.
