CHINA. Givenchy Beauty, owned by LVMH Group, has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) at cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex to open the brand’s first facial cabin in Asia Pacific travel retail.
The facial cabin offers a luxury spa experience centred on Givenchy’s Le Soin Noir collection.
The standalone Givenchy flagship offers an array of beauty services including flash makeup touch-ups, indulgent hand massages and personalised skincare consultations.
The Le Soin Range commands centre-stage at the cabin and travellers can enjoy everything from facial cleansing to moisturising, brightening and nourishing facial treatments. One of the product highlights is the Givenchy Le Soin Noir Mask, which is enhanced by the brand’s complementary deep ocean massage ritual.
The facial cabin is inspired by brand founder Hubert de Givenchy’s home, the Hôtel Particulier. It features an array of aesthetic facilities to offer a relaxing and multi-sensorial skincare experience.
To celebrate the launch, Givenchy tapped Chinese KOL Didi to visit the cabin and livestream her experience. She previewed the facial cabin, introduced the Le Soin Noir collection and enjoyed a luxury hand massage and facial treatment.
The livestream generated 1.98 million views. Commenting on the Givenchy facial cabin experience, Didi said: “It highlights the importance of taking a pause once in a while to pamper yourself.”
Givenchy also launched a targeted paid social media campaign across various Chinese social media which attracted 1.38 million consumers.
Le Soin Noir is a prestige skincare line that harnesses the power of deep-sea Vital Algae.
It is made via a six-step extraction technique which isolates the four micro-nutrient components of Vital Algae transforming it into Black Sap and bringing out its skin-nourishing and rejuvenating properties.
It comprises the Le Soin Noir Serum, Le Soin Noir Cream, Le Soin Noir Light Cream, and the Le Soin Noir Black and White Masks. The serum smooths the skin, fades wrinkles and defines facial contours.
The Cream and Light Cream penetrates deep into the dermis with revitalising Black Sap, while the masks leverage Black Sap to regenerate the skin. ✈
