Gianguido Bianco named L’Oréal Travel Retail EMEAI General Manager

Bianco has worked at L’Oréal for 20 years in various marketing roles

L’Oréal Travel Retail has appointed Gianguido Bianco as General Manager Europe, Middle East, Africa & India, effective immediately.

Bianco succeeds John Mangan who has been named General Manager of L’Oréal Luxe UK & Ireland.

Bianco joined L’Oréal in 1998, working in the Italy Luxe Division. He has held several positions as product and marketing manager in Italy, France and Spain, as well in Japan, where he was Deputy General Manager of the Shu Uemura brand.

In 2014, Bianco joined the travel retail team as General Manager Lancôme & Clarisonic in Travel Retail Americas, based in Miami. During this period, he gave a new direction to Lancôme, modernised its retail expression, enhanced a customer-centric spirit, and put in place numerous digital innovations.

“His international experience on three continents, his wide knowledge of the beauty world and global shoppers, as well as his innate professional and personal skills make Gianguido a fully legitimate successor to John,” said L’Oréal Travel Retail.

L’Oréal Travel Retail Managing Director Vincent Boinay said: “With the strong support of the talented L’Oréal Travel Retail teams, Gianguido will undoubtedly pursue the dynamism already put in place with our retail partners in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.”
