Frey Wille unveils new jewellery range inspired by Klimt masterpiece

Austrian enamel jewellery specialist Frey Wille will present a new range, inspired by Gustav Klimt’s art nouveau masterpiece The Kiss, at next week’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Yellow Village C15).

The Ultimate Kiss is said to reflect Klimt’s symbolic imagery, emphasising the contrasts, as well as the connection, between men and women.

The new range includes pendant, earrings, watch and bracelet.

The male part in the design is represented by golden and black tones and graphic shapes, while the female part is illustrated with soft pastel shades and floral ornaments.

The brand said the completion of the design in fire enamel was technically demanding because, based on Klimt’s ‘Golden Period’, five different types of gold (powder, relief, copper coloured, platinum and antique) were used.

The creation of the watercolour effect of the flowers was achieved by the segregation of light and dark tones, Frey Wille added.
