USA. Nashville International Airport will soon unveil further retail outlets following the launch of its newly overhauled Grand Lobby in January.

On its LinkedIn account, the airport’s master concessionaire Fraport USA posted a photo of airport signage with the message ‘More to Come,’ suggesting the opening of new shopping and dining outlets in 2023.

It is set to introduce five food and dining options in September including Slim and Husky’s, Hattie B’s, ACME Feed & Seed, The Goo Goo Shop and Smashville.

As reported, the newly overhauled facility includes 12 new travel retail brands managed by Fraport USA. These are Music City Shop, Nashville Jam Session, Draper James, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Whiskey Trailhead, Parnassus Books, Lily Palmer Flowers on the Fly, Pharmacy Burger Parlor, Johnston & Murphy, Natalie’s Candy Jar, InTune and The Atrium.

Also launched last month was Tennessee Rickhouse located at the Concourse C near gate C-10. It serves small-batch premium spirits from Nashville Pennington Distillery.

Meanwhile, Nashville Airport has added WestJet to its international nonstop route portfolio. The airline will begin direct service from Music City to Vancouver in May.

This addition extends nonstop services from Nashville to Canada’s five largest cities – Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton – as of this Summer.

Southwest Airlines will also increase the frequency of flights between Oakland and Nashville to five times weekly, operating daily except Tuesday and Wednesday, in September. ✈
