Fraport USA builds on F&B offer at Cleveland Hopkins International

US. Fraport USA has extended the dining options at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with two new restaurants: Cantina taqueria and tequila bar and the 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen.

The 2,700sq ft Concourse C Cantina has the look of a local street-side Mexican dining spot.

It features reclaimed wood, colorful mosaic accent tiles and glass chandelier lighting. Its menu highlights the flavours, culture and cooking methods of Mexico and includes spicy pork carnitas, al pastor grilled chicken and gluten-free green chili. Specialities include a variety of street tacos, burritos, enchiladas, as well as freshly-made desserts like churros rellenos and breakfast items.

Cantina offers a wide range of tequilas and Latin-inspired cocktails such as the Mojito de Oaxaca, a tart and smoky twist on the classic mojito.

The Concourse A 800 Degrees Woodfired Kitchen offers a new take on the art of cooking with fire. The Los Angeles-born rotisserie and craft pizza specialist adds fire-kissed flavours to sandwiches, salads and appetisers.

Fraport Cleveland Vice President, and Developer and Manager of the CLE Restaurant Concessions Programme, Tina LaForte said: “We’re excited to introduce two dining concepts that offer loads of appetising dishes for diners at the airport. From 800 Degrees’ wood-fired creations to Cantina’s Mexican specialties, they each bring new flavour profiles to the airport.”

The airport has welcomed several new restaurants in the past year, including Panini’s Bar & Grill, Embers Fire & Ice Bar, Shake Shack and Wow Bao.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport Director Robert Kennedy commented: “These new additions offer a range of appetising dining options. We are thrilled to welcome these new establishments and offer our airport guests more variety while they are at the airport.”
