Fraport USA adds Sense of Place and speciality retail options at Baltimore/Washington

USA. Fraport USA has introduced several new brands to the dining and retail offerings at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. They include Maryland restaurants Flying Dog Tap House and Phillips Seafood. In addition, new speciality retailers include Diva By Cindy, @ease, La Boutique and NYS Collection, plus there are two DefensePac pre-security kiosks.

“Fraport USA is committed to enhancing the airport experience for travellers,” said Airmall Maryland Vice President Brett Kelly in a statement. “The newest additions at BWI Marshall support Fraport USA’s focus on delivering a shopping and dining destination featuring top and emerging brands, street pricing, regional flavour and innovative concepts.”

Flying Dog Tap House: Located at Concourse A, Flying Dog Tap House features a menu of hometown options. These include Flying Dog beers from Maryland’s largest brewery and entrees made with ingredients from regional partners like Roseda Farm and Tessemae’s All Natural Dressings, such as beef hot dogs from Roseda Farm with a Doggie Style Pale Ale beer cheese.

Other menu options include the likes of Roseda beef sliders with garlic aioli made with Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA; wings with a Double Dog Double IPA buffalo sauce and a Bloodline Blood Orange Ale BBQ sauce.

Phillips Seafood: Located on Concourse D, Phillips Seafood offers a variety of seafood, also with a local touch. This includes Maryland-style crab cakes, gourmet soups, salads, appetizers and entrees for both dine-in or grab-and-go counter service.

Speciality retailers include:

Diva By Cindy: At its new kiosk at A/B, the company offers natural alcohol-free hair care products with the likes of shampoos and conditioners. Adding a charity component, a percentage of Diva By Cindy’s proceeds help support homeless women and victims of domestic violence.

@ease: In the D/E connector and coming this month, @ease will offer athleisure apparel and accessories. Its apparel will include major brands Puma, Prana, DYI, Shape and Marmot. There’s also water bottles, yoga bags, headphones and more.

La Boutique: In Concourse D, this store features accessories, cosmetics and fragrances from premium brands such as Estée Lauder, Marc Jacobs and Ray-Ban.

NYS Collection: At its new kiosk in the D/E connector, this concept offers sunglasses and eyewear for men and women. Styles include the New York line, polarized Signature series, luxury Elite label and readers.

DefensePac: Two pre-security DefensePac system kiosks offer disposable booties and hand sanitizers. Retailing for US$3, the kits from the automated vending units include hand sanitizer packets and a pair of medically approved latex-free anti-skid disposable foot covers in a reusable plastic bag. They are located in the landside terminal next to the Southwest Airlines board and across from the Spirit Airlines counter.
