Four Pillars appoints Jemma Blanch as Director of Marketing, Events and Activation

Jemma Blanch comes from a “stellar” career at lifestyle communications agency Liquid Ideas

Australian craft spirits company Four Pillars has appointed Jemma Blanch to the new position of Director of Marketing, Events and Activations. She reports into co-founders Stuart Gregor and Matt Jones.

Blanch enjoyed what Four Pillars described as a “stellar” seven-year career at Sydney-based lifestyle communications agency Liquid Ideas from 2011-2018. There she worked on a wide range of brands and businesses, including Beam Suntory, CUB, Unilever, Singapore Airlines, Dan Murphy’s and RUOK Day.

While at Liquid Ideas, Blanch progressed from a junior Account Manager through to its most senior team member as Client and Culture Director, overseeing a team of 15 account staff and reporting directly to the CEO.

She assumes responsibility for all elements of the Four Pillars marketing mix from trade and consumer engagement through to events and activities in all global and travel retail markets across the globe.

Travel retail is a key focus for the company. Last September Four Pillars appointed former Rémy Cointreau Area Director North Asia & Oceania Mark Lawton to head Global Travel Retail, Asia and New Zealand.

“Four Pillars continues to invest in people to support the travel retail world during these tough times,” Lawton told The Moodie Davitt Report in commenting on Jemma Blanch’s appointment.

“We are thrilled to have Jemma join the team,” said Four Pillars co-founders Stuart Gregor and Matt Jones. “She is one of the most impressive talents we have seen come through the ranks of Liquid Ideas. She is a passionate believer in advocacy and creative marketing and a true lover of Four Pillars – she is the only person in history to have their wedding at the distillery!”

In just over six years Four Pillars has carved a reputation as one of Australia’s and the world’s most-admired craft distillers
