Global travel retail veteran Tim Young has established a new London-based Young Spirit Consulting agency.
A specialist in emerging markets in the drinks business, Young has over 30 years experience in the wine and spirits industry, including lengthy stints with Seagram and Brown-Forman.
He joined Brown-Forman in 2002 as Area Manager Duty Free and took on the role of Marketing Director Global Travel Retail five years later. Young held regional marketing director positions for India, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean region before being named Brown-Forman Vice President General Manager Africa in 2017.
Through his Young Spirit Consulting agency, Young aims to help premium beverage companies unlock growth in the global spirits market.
“My passion is growing brands and I intend to use the commercial and marketing skills and the knowledge of global travel retail and emerging markets I have developed during my time in the wine and spirits industry to assist my clients in moving their brands to the next level of growth,” he said.
