Foreo hails strong performance of UFO 2 masking device in The QDF Factor

Beauty tech and wellness group Foreo has hailed its second place prize in The QDF Factor competition for its revolutionary UFO 2 90-second masking device. The UFO 2 is a pioneering device in the beauty tech industry that combines both cryotherapy and thermotherapy to deliver a full masking treatment in just 90 seconds.

The QDF Factor, which concluded with an awards ceremony at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo on Friday 15 October, was an extraordinary industry competition to encourage innovation and differentiation among brand owners. Video of the ceremony appears above.

During the Big Reveal on Friday last, Qatar Duty Free Vice President Operations Thabet Musleh said that all finalists will be offered a listing for 2022 at Hamad International Airport.

Foreo won second place among 12 other finalists at The QDF Factor

The winning entry was Peuch et Besse’s ‘Wine of Golf Legends’ while Margaret Dabbs London and Ahmad Tea secured joint third place.

The UFO 2 comes with eight different LED lights that intensify the effects of any UFO Power Activated Masks. The LED lights, offering the same efficacy as professional spas, have different qualities that activate different key ingredients. The UFO 2 can be connected to Foreo’s Smart App to provide different treatments based on customer’s chosen masks. Users can also choose the length of their treatment, colour and T-Sonic pulsation intensity.

The UFO 2 leverages thermotherapy benefits, delivering heat to the skin five times faster than the original UFO at an optimised temperature of 45 degrees celsius. It also features cryotherapy that cools the skin to give it a firmer and more lifted appearance.
