Irene Deng joins the Foreo Global Travel Retail team as PR & Marketing Manager

Foreo Global Travel Retail has appointed Irene Deng as Public Relations and Marketing Manager.

Deng joins Foreo from Swiss watch manufacturer Girard-Perregaux where she was Marketing Manager, based in Shanghai, overseeing digital and retail marketing for 19 POS nationwide.

Deng also worked as Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager at Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai, initiating the centre’s first video content programme, which generated over one million views.

Foreo Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong said Deng’s appointment was well-timed as the Swedish beauty tech and wellness brand targets expansion in China.

Foreo continues to make rapid strides in the key China market.

As reported, the brand unveiled its latest branded zone at CNSC’s recently-opened post-arrivals duty free store in Chongqing last month. In February, Foreo extended its Hainan presence to the new Haikou Mission Hills complex, a collaboration between Shenzhen Duty Free and DFS, which will be completed in phases over the next two years.

The new branded zones underscore Foreo’s efforts to build its China network. In a recent interview with Martin Moodie, Leong said that Foreo will see 13 new offline counters open this year, while its FAQ line will add 16 new locations.

Foreo Global Travel Retail has sold 5.8 million products in the last five years, largely thanks to the brand’s popularity in China.
