Flying Tiger Copenhagen earns its stripes at Hamburg Airport

GERMANY. Scandinavian chain Flying Tiger Copenhagen has opened its first store at Hamburg Airport.

The 260sq m shop is located in the publicly accessible arrivals area of Terminal 1. It offers everyday products in Danish design, including cutlery, household devices, toys, cosmetics and office supplies. Flying Tiger Copenhagen only sells own-brand products.

“The new Flying Tiger Copenhagen store is the ideal addition to our shop portfolio,” said Hamburg Airport Director of Center Management Lutz Deubel.

“Our focus is on providing our passengers and visitors with an extensive range of shopping opportunities to cater for every possible taste. With its broad palette of unusual Scandinavian lifestyle products, Flying Tiger Copenhagen invites people to come in and discover things for themselves.”

The Flying Tiger Copenhagen chain originates in the Danish capital city. In 2016, Hamburg Airport handled 280,000 passengers from Denmark.

The company now operates more than 700 shops in 29 countries.
