Final call for 2017 APTRA KPMG Insights Seminars registration

ASIA PACIFIC. The Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) is urging interested parties to register for its fourth annual APTRA KPMG Insights Seminars taking place around Asia, before registrations close at the end of this week.

There is no registration fee for the seminars but places are limited so interested parties are advised to register by email as early as possible (details below).

The latest APTRA-commissioned studies from KPMG and m1nd-set are “much anticipated and greatly appreciated” by members, says President Andrew Ford

The seminars will take place in South Korea, China and Hong Kong on 28, 29 and 30 November respectively.

The agenda across all three seminars will be the same, although in Hong Kong the seminar will be part of a larger programme – KPMG’s Retail Asia Conference ‘holiday season update’.

Together with research partner m1ndset, APTRA and KPMG will share the principal findings of their recent research studies and explain how stakeholders can leverage the data to drive growth.

KPMG Business Development Partner Anson Bailey will share the latest research on disruptive technology in retail and provide insights into future trends in consumer technology.

M1nd-set Travel Retail Research Director Clara Perez will share detailed findings from its latest consumer research on shopping behaviour and differences between travellers from China, Japan, Korea and India. This latest APTRA-commissioned study will also detail current and future travel trends among Asia Pacific travellers, providing delegates with a taste of what to expect in 2018 from the region’s key outbound markets.

APTRA President Andrew Ford commented: “APTRA’s Insights Seminar programme has developed considerably since its inception. The annual APTRA Airport Forum, hosted by Changi Airport earlier this year, is a valuable addition to the programme. The partnership we have with KPMG, now in its fourth year, is an example of how we at APTRA are developing our services on behalf of the industry, alongside our core advocacy mission. The latest research findings from both KPMG and m1nd-set are much anticipated and greatly appreciated by our members.”

All three seminars will be hosted at KPMG’s offices on the following dates:

Tuesday 28 November, Seoul – Registration: ishin@gliconsulting.com

Wednesday 29 November, Shanghai – Registration: l.zhang@glichina.com.cn

Thursday 30 November, Hong Kong – Registration: admin@aptra.asia
