Leading brands that took part included MAC Cosmetics, Tumi, XpresSpa, Michael Kors, Patricia Nash and Bijoux Terner/iTravel. In addition, there were four designer fashion presentations featuring spring/summer collections from Sean John, Brooks Brothers, ExOfficio and Atlanta brand Spanx.

“As the world’s busiest airport, we continue to set the standard for domestic airports by investing in unique events like Global Runway that highlight Hartsfield-Jackson’s award-winning concessions programme and the best-in-class retail offerings we provide to more than 100 million passengers each year,” said Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport General Manager John Selden.

This year, guests were immersed in eight colourful rooms featuring apparel and accessory offerings at the airport. The “Instagram-ready” installations aimed to “spark conversation, create shareable content and foster opportunities to connect with ATL Skypointe brands.

“For someone who loves fashion and traveling, Hartsfield-Jackson offers the best of both worlds,” said Joe Zee.

“To me, Atlanta is more than just an airport; it’s a destination in itself with a variety of shopping, dining and even relaxation options. I’m excited to host Global Runway this year and join Atlanta’s fashion community to celebrate the diverse retail options.”

The airport also highlighted ATLRewards, its customer loyalty and engagement programme that enables passengers to earn free points when they shop, dine or park.
