Face Matters presents ‘newest alternative to botox’

World of Patria International (WOPI) unveiled new Face Matters Instant Lift & Sculpt treatment, described as ‘the newest alternative to botox and fillers’, at last week’s TFWA World Exhibition.

The non-invasive treatment, said to be suitable for men and woman, is claimed to provide skin with a firm and toned look. The concept uses electronic high frequency waves, which work in conjunction with Face Matters products such as Spritz and Elixir.

Face Matters said it is hoping to introduce the treatment to airport lounges.

Before and after: the treatment is said to stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid

The waves, which are used to reach the deep subcutaneous section of the dermis, apply a 40-degree centigrade heat to a particular area of skin for a few seconds. This causes a controlled trauma deep within the dermis and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibres, according to the brand.

The treatment is also claimed to reduce and disperse fat cells and, with the use of ceramic plates, the skin is then sculpted and re-contoured using the Face Matters collagen gel.

According to the brand, the treatment can also be used all over the body.

Face Matters Founder Sally Curson said: “This new addition to our Face Matters offering is a new direction for us. We are very excited as we believe that this could revolutionise the airport lounge spa by offering an instant facelift before you fly. We can also see potential for this treatment on first class long-haul flights, so no one will ever need to depart the plane without looking 100% fresh.”
