“Exciting new venture”: SSP opens three F&B outlets at Taipei Station

TAIWAN. SSP has opened three food & beverage units at Taipei Station. They are: CheeKei, Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice and Khaosoi House.

Chee Kei, a Michelin-recommended Hong Kong brand in 2010, offers food based on the art of wonton noodles, fresh crab congee and Guangdong cuisine.

On the menu: Between them, the three units serve Guangdong and Northern Thai cuisine as well as Nanyang-inspired dishes

Wee Nam Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice is a Singapore brand with a regional presence in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia. It serves Hainanese Chicken Rice and a wide variety of Nanyang-inspired dishes.

Khaosoi House is a concept created by SSP, and serves Northern Thai cuisine and speciality curry noodles.

“Taipei Station is renowned for its great collection of F&B offers,” said SSP CEO for Asia Pacific Chris Rayner. “With these new openings, we will be adding even more regional choices for passengers at the station. We are delighted to be embarking on this exciting new venture.”

Taipei Station handles daily traffic of over 500,000 and had F&B sales of TWD2.2 billion US$73.3 million) in 2016.
