Everrich unveils promotional campaign and interactive installations for FIFA World Cup

TAIWAN. Everrich Duty Free has worked with FIFA, football’s international governing body, to create immersive FIFA World Cup experiences at Taiwan’s airports.

Games are being screened across dozens of televisions in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport’s Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with photo points and interactive shooting installations enhancing the experience. The installations are also available at Taipei Songshan and Kaohsiung International airports.

Everrich said it had created a ‘football wall’ in Taoyuan International, which invites domestic and foreign passengers to take photos.

The travel retailer launched a promotional campaign on 29 June to coincide with the World Cup. Customers spending more than NT$8,000 (US$258) will receive a 2018 FIFA World Cup limited-edition commemorative football.

Passengers purchasing selected perfumes, cosmetics, digital products or souvenirs will be entitled to an additional discount, the retailer said. Everrich-operated restaurants, such as Bistro: D, Sunmai beer bar and Illy Emando coffee, are offering a -50% discount on beer.

Everrich added that the Taiwan F.C. Vikings football team (pictured below) had been invited to Taoyuan International to put on freestyle football displays. The company said many travellers had been attracted to stop in its shops to witness the “football dance”.
