EuroItalia celebrates 40th anniversary in style

EuroItalia celebrated 40 years of business with a lavish party for its employees and business partners last month.

The Italian family company, founded in 1978, creates and distributes fragrances (over 90% of products are sold overseas) with travel retail a vital channel. Its brands include leading fashion labels Versace, Moschino, Missoni and DSquared2.

The striking Royal Villa of Monza was the location of EuroItalia’s 40th anniversary celebrations last month.

Speaking to The Moodie Davitt Report in September, the company’s Export Director Claudio Tenan commented: “Travel retail keeps gaining in importance. People are constantly moving around the globe, so it happens that travel retail is the most important international window. We pay great attention to it.” 

The anniversary celebration was held over the Christmas period at the Royal Villa of Monza in northern Italy. The building’s classical façade was lit up in red and a ‘EuroItalia 40 Years’ sign was erected for the evening.

EuroItalia described the evening as “a magnificent and vibrant one full of emotion”.

Around 80 guests attended, among them all of EuroItalia’s employees as well as its long-standing external associates.

EuroItalia President Giovanni Sgariboldi commented: “We are an Italian company that exports over 90% of its products and has a presence in virtually every country in the world.

The DSquared2 Wood fragrances for men and women were among the biggest EuroItalia launches of 2018.

Among the company’s most notable fragrance releases last year are DSquared Wood, Versace Dylan Blue pour femme and Moschino Toy 2.
