Maike Kiessling, General Manager of Estée Lauder Switzerland, has been named Swiss Woman of the Year by influential title Women in Business.
Ms Kiessling is well-known in the travel retail community, having led fellow beauty house La Prairie in the channel for 19 years from 1992 before moving to The Estée Lauder Companies. She has been in her current role since July 2016.
In making the award, Women in Business noted that Ms Kiessling leads a team of 510, 91% of whom are women. In an interview with the magazine, she related how her lifelong dream to be a mentor who helps people develop came true.
