Estée Lauder takes travel retail exclusives to new heights with the Super Flight Creme duo

UK. Estée Lauder has further demonstrated its commitment to travel retail by developing two new skincare products specifically for the channel. They will be available from July.

Super Flight Creme Continuous Hydration for Face 50ml and Super Flight Creme Continuous Hydration for Eyes 20ml are designed to counter the dryness and “travel-stressed skin” caused by air travel, dry cabin air (the humidity level inflight can fall as low as 8%) and jet lag.

Tellingly, in a recent independent survey of 100 flight attendants and over 200 frequent travellers (conducted by PRI-AIR), the majority of those interviewed listed dry skin as their most important travel related concern.

The Super Flight Creme products, which are suitable for both men and women, offer moisturising benefits that last eight hours, according to Lauder, leaving travellers looking visibly rested and radiant.

The products are packaged in pearlised, pale grey tubes featuring the Estée Lauder Travel Exclusive logo and a gold airplane graphic. In turn the two tubes are presented in a portable, transparent carrying case, described as the perfect size for any carry-on, which meets current US security size restrictions.

Additionally, Estée Lauder’s new informational duty free web-site,, is printed on the packaging so that travellers can easily learn more about their favourite/new Estée Lauder products and travel retail exclusives, and get helpful travel tips.

Super Flight Creme Continuous Hydration for Face is a lightweight, non-greasy, fast-absorbing gel-cream formulated with algae extract and hyalurunic acid. Other key ingredients include a powerful complex of anti-irritants including glucose and glycine, to calm and visibly soothe skin.

This combination is said to enable the skin’s appearance to better recover from long flights, and the effects of travelling through multiple time zones.

Super Flight Creme Continuous Hydration for Eyes is described as a feather-weight, non-greasy gel-cream that absorbs into skin leaving it silky smooth, soft and protected.

The formula also contains a unique revitalizing complex to soothe and strengthen the delicate skin around the eye, leaving skin looking vibrant, less puffy and with the appearance of dark circles dramatically diminished, according to Lauder.

Both products are fragrance-free, oil-free, non-acnegenic, and ophthalmologist- and dermatologist-tested.
