A Legacy of Firsts – 38 years of serum innovation

Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair range has set new standards for skincare repair, reaching cult status worldwide.

The formula has been updated only four times throughout its history. It continues to one of the best-selling and most loved skincare products in the company’s history.

In celebration of 38 years of beauty innovation, Estée Lauder has released a new formulation — the result of seven years of epigenetic research — to reveal the new Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex.

1982: Advanced Night Repair Protective Recovery
Estée Lauder launched the first-ever Night Repair Cellular Recovery Complex, the first skincare product to utilise hyaluronic acid. The formula repaired the visible signs of aging during the restorative hours of sleep.

1991: Advanced Night Repair Protective Recovery Complex
Building on the concept of night repair, the formula was boosted with anti-oxidant technologies, resulting in the Advanced Night Repair Recovery Complex. The new formula mimicked the skin’s natural mechanisms neutralising up to 90`% of free radicals.

2009: Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex
This new formula offered comprehensive and optimised night-time repair using Chronolux technology. The technology supported the skin’s natural synchronisation to boost skin repair at night.

2013: Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II
The new advanced night repair serum featured Estée Lauder’s exclusive ChronoluxCB Technology, which revealed the impact of chronic lack of sleep on the skin’s appearance.

2020: Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex
Estée Lauder unveils its most advanced night repair serum to date. The new formula maximises the skin’s restorative and youth-generating power. It is backed by epigenetic research and was inspired by Estée Lauder’s micro-signalling molecule breakthrough.
