Coty has extended Escada’s summer-edition fragrance line with new Sorbetto Rosso. The feminine eau de parfum is launching this month in European travel retail and will roll-out to the Americas in February.
Escada Sorbetto Rosso, created by perfumer Richard Herpin, is available in 30ml (€32), 50ml (€45.60) and 100ml €58.40.
Sorbetto Rosso is said to evoke the spirit of Italy’s Amalfi Coast and the indulgence of the Italian ‘dolce vita’. The fragrance features a watermelon heart and notes of mandarin, calone, pear, red apple and praline. The base comprises tiare flower, musks and ambrox.
The juice is housed in a bottle created by Danish designer Mads Berg. The bottle depicts a watermelon and features summery colours.
Fashion house Escada was founded in 1978 by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley. The house’s first fragrance launched in 1990, followed by the debut seasonal scent ‘Chiffon Sorbet’ in 1993.
