Ermenegildo Zegna and Marcolin reveal Leggerissimo Project Eyewear collection

Italian luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna has unveiled new eyewear styles from its Leggerissimo Project collection. The Leggerissimo Project is a supplementary capsule line that is defined by trendy and innovative designs.

The Leggerissimo Project Eyewear collection is produced and distributed by Marcolin Group. The complete range is now available in Ermenegildo Zegna’s boutiques as well as selected optical shops around the world. The two Leggerissimo Project sunglasses style are also now available in worldwide travel retail.

In Italian, the word Leggerissimo translates to ‘very light.’ The new ultra-lightweight sunglasses and optical frames from the Leggerissimo Project are made with a thin steel core and 2.2 mm wide temples, ensuring optimal flexibility without sacrificing strength.

The collection is made up of two sunglasses and two optical frames. The modern pilot sunglass and flat top sunglass pieces were constructed with lightweight acetate and feature classic Ermenegildo Zegna design elements such as the chevron pattern, vicuña-coloured temple tips and laser-engraved logo.

The optical frames come in a soft square and geometric silhouette. The soft square is made with lightweight acetate and a key nose bridge, decorated with the chevron pattern and vicuña-coloured temple tips. The geometrical frames are made with refined titanium and also feature the brand’s laser-engraved logo.
