MACAU, CHINA. DFS Group unveiled its eleventh annual Masters of Wines and Spirits exhibition at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams at a glittering series of events on 17 and 18 March.

The exhibition is a partnership with City of Dreams Macau, the prestigious premier integrated entertainment resort on the Cotai Strip.
Masters of Wines and Spirits features a bespoke collection of more than 100 of the world’s rarest fine wines, spirits and Champagnes, from 50 renowned brands and houses, including new additions this year from the rum and tequila categories.
A weekend of prestigious activities launched this year’s Masters of Wines and Spirits, which celebrates the pinnacle of the industry’s craftsmanship and the extensive expertise of DFS’ merchant team. Those qualities converge in what DFS described as “a one-of-a kind collection of the world’s best wines and spirits”.
On Friday evening, media guests joined an intimate welcome dinner at the French bistro in City of Dreams’ iconic Morpheus hotel, L’ATTITUDE – the winner of the Award of Excellence 2022 by US publication Wine Spectator.
A bespoke menu highlighted the restaurant’s contemporary twist on French cuisine and the season’s finest produce.
With the theme of ‘Elevate Your Senses’, over 300 guests were then invited to a spectacular gala event at Morpheus on 18 March for an immersive and interactive journey to explore the universe of DFS’ Masters of Wines and Spirits.
DFS transformed the venue into six zones over two floors, including a dedicated Moët Hennessy and Diageo area and five others featuring multi-brand selections. Guests were able to interact with the world’s leading brands and their ambassadors during an evening of vibrant entertainment and premium food, wines and spirits.
An educational journey
This year’s event also featured several masterclasses and educational tastings by master distillers, blenders, wine makers and ambassadors from four renowned brands – The Macallan, Hennessy, Dictador and Penfolds {look out for an extensive feature on Dictador rum next month}.
“We are thrilled to return to our traditional gala format, where this year’s Masters of Wines and Spirits created an unrivalled and illustrious experience that can only be found at DFS,” said DFS Group President Merchandising Christophe Marque.
“Each piece in the collection was selected with our customers in mind, bringing together a spectacular array of the world’s finest and rarest wines and spirits in the vibrant city of Macau for the second time.”
The Masters of Wines and Spirits pop-up, housed exclusively at City of Dreams Macau, is now open to the public. It features extensive information about each exhibition.
Each bottle (other than several already reserved) is available for purchase at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams from March to April.
