Edrington releases Highland Park single-cask exclusive with Dufry at Heathrow

All 642 bottles of an exclusive single-cask bottling from Highland Park have been released at Dufry’s World of Whiskies stores in Heathrow Airport by Edrington.

Filled in March 2006 and bottled after 12 years, the single barrel whisky draws its flavours from a mix of first-fill American oak and sherry puncheon. The result is a cask-strength 64.4% ABV Scotch whisky that is deep russet in colour; it has a nose of rich vanilla, almonds and gentle smoke; the palate is of sweet marzipan and lemon before a sweet finish mingled with citrus peel.
