Go Travel will introduce two new Duo adpators at next week’s TFWA World Exhibition (Yellow Village, Stand B24).
The Duo adaptors combine high quality double adaptors with high performance twin USBs. Designed for UK travellers, one model has an output for EU countries and the other for the Americas.
The Duo adaptors, as with all Go Travel products, have been rigorously tested for compliance and guaranteed performance, the brand said. The UK-EU Duo Adaptor + USB converts British 3-pole earthed plugs to fit most European sockets, while the UK-USA Duo Adaptor + USB converts 3-pole earthed plugs to fit American sockets.
The adaptors’ USB ports integrate a 2.4A auto-regulating power output when dual charging, which is claimed to offer enough power to charge two devices simultaneously. The Duo adaptors’ polycarbonate casing is said to be thermal-resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 125oC. An improved shutter mechanism increases protection for the user, according to Go Travel, while nickel-plated brass pins offer “superior wear and corrosion resistance”.
