AUSTRALIA. Heinemann Tax & Duty Free has introduced a new Champagne from Moët Hennessy exclusively at its Sydney Airport stores.

Moët & Chandon Impérial Ice Rosé launched on 1 October and will remain exclusive to the retailer until December.

Impérial Ice Rosé is a line extension to the original and highly successful Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial. Its flavour profile comprises morello cherry, cranberry, fig and nectarine, complemented by a finish of bittersweet pink grapefruit.

Moët Hennessy Managing Director Travel Retail Donatienne de Fontaines-Guillaume said: “We are proud to partner with Heinemann and Sydney Airport to launch Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé in avant-premier on the Australian market, inviting travelling consumers to dive into summer with the first ever rosé Champagne created to be enjoyed on ice.”

The launch follows the opening of a new Moët Hennessy space within Heinemann Tax & Duty Free at Sydney Airport. The space is 7m x 4m and includes brands such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Dom Perignon and Ruinart. A wide assortment of limited-edition and travel retail exclusive lines is on offer.

Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Glyn Williams said the new, dedicated space given to Moët Hennessy delivers value and choice, while surprising passengers at the same time. “Moët Hennessy is synonymous with some of the world’s most sophisticated Champagne brands, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer passengers an incredible shopping experience with tax free prices,” he said.

Heinemann Australia boasts 8,000sqm of retail space at Sydney Airport’s International Terminal (T1), including the world’s largest stand-alone duty free store.
