Duty Free Global names KhimNoy Yeo as Singapore-based Sales Manager

Wines and spirits agency Duty Free Global (DFG) has named KhimNoy Yeo (pictured) as Sales Manager, based in Singapore, The company said the move underlined its reach and commitment to extending its regional expertise in travel retail on behalf of its brand partners.

Ms Yeo entered the wine trade in 1997, and has had a variety of roles in the industry, setting up new business units, running operations, and managing sales and marketing.

From 2002-2004 she worked as Chairperson for the Singapore Australian Wine Importers Group, working to promote the awareness of Australian wines. In 2008, she relocated to Shanghai to join the wine marketing team for Pernod Ricard China.

In addition, she was a member of the tasting panel for the Singapore International Wine Challenge in 2000 as well as the China Wine & Spirits Awards in 2014.

DFG Founder Barry Geoghegan said: “We are delighted to welcome KhimNoy to the DFG team, as we are fully committed to strengthening our presence in Asia, a crucially important region for travel retail. We have no doubt that KhimNoy’s knowledge of the region and vast experience in wines and spirits will enhance customer focus for our great brand partners.”

Ms Yeo added: “I’m really looking forward to both being a member of the DFG team and to meeting all of our business partners during the [Singapore] show. At the same time, I’m also pleased to be able to share my commitment to strengthening the presence of these brands in Asia.”

DFG will exhibit at booth B2-E39 at next week’s TFWA Asia Pacific.

The DFG team will be showcasing brands from key partners such as Gold Bar whiskey and Drumshanbo Gunpowder gin.
