Independent drinks specialist Duty Free Global has been named as the Global Travel Retail Partner for Drinksology Kirker Greer.
Belfast-based company Drinksology Kirker Greer is an independent brand owner of an innovative portfolio of global drinks brands. Duty Free Global is highlighting the company’s Ginato Italian Gin and Ukiyo Japanese Gin and Vodka, at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo.
Ginato Italian gin offers the essence of Italy and uses Italian grapes and citrus fruits. Product highlights include the Original Pinot Grigio Gin, which can be used to make a refreshing Ginato Pinot Grigio Spritz, alongside the Pompelmo, Melograno and Clementino flavours.
Ukiyo Japanese Gin and Vodka was developed using a base of traditional Japanese Shōchū and Awamori spirits. The Japanese term ‘Ukiyo’ refers to a state of mind that emphasises living in the moment, while detached from the difficulties of life.
Two of the brand’s star products, the Ukiyo Blossom Gin and Ukiyo Yuzu Gin, are made from a barley harvest first distilled in a traditional Japanese pot still Shōchū spirit. The spirit is then distilled in a traditional pot still with Juniper, Mandarin and spice before being infused with Sakura flower and Yuzu.
