Regional travel retail distributor Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) has secured a presence for Seiko in the Dufry watches category at Mexico City Benito Juárez International Airport.
The Terminal 1 store, which reopened earlier this month, features Seiko watches in a white back wall fixture. Promotional materials highlight Seiko’s Prospex collection for recreational and professional divers.

As reported, a Seiko pop-up opened at the Dufry-operated store in September last year and was reactivated in November during the ‘Day of the Dead’ holiday in Mexico.
DFD said a further reactivation earlier this year increased Seiko’s brand exposure and sales at the airport store and bolstered its presence in the travel retail channel.
DFD Category Manager for Watches Monica Martinez added: “We are very pleased to be able to offer the full Seiko range in conjunction with our partner Dufry Mexico, to satisfy travellers’ needs and wishes with the versatility of the brand’s collections.”
