Duty Free Dynamics extends brand portfolio with four new partnerships

Brand distributor Duty Free Dynamics (DFD) has expanded its brand portfolio and its travel retail category network.

DFD has been appointed Lego master franchiser for the Americas, moving into the toy category for the first time.

Lego’s roll-out strategy includes Lego monobrand stores in selected airports and border shops; cruise line and inflight listings are also planned. All developments will be complemented with shop-in-shops and other personalised brand spaces.

DFD moves into electronics with Aftershokz, a headphones brand which incorporates technology based on bone conduction. The company has also tied up with Toms, the California casual shoe specialist, which donates a pair of shoes to disadvantaged children across the world for every pair sold.

Hydroflask is a newcomer to the Duty Free Dynamics brand portfolio.

In outdoor products, DFD partners with Fjallraven (backpacks and outdoor wear), Osprey (backpacks) and Eno (hammocks) and has added Hydroflask, a specialist in insulated bottles, to its line-up.

DFD will highlight the new brands at next week’s Summit of the Americas in Orlando (Booth 211).
