Duty Free Americas builds regional sunglasses store network with Luxottica

PANAMA. Luxottica Group has hailed the opening of its latest sunglasses boutique in partnership with Duty Free Americas. The store opened recently at Tocumen International Terminal 1 in Panama. The first store with DFA opened at Punta Cana International Airport in early 2018.

The store, developed in partnership with Luxottica, houses 25 brands with almost 2,000 facings.

The new 107sq m store, featured in The Moodie Davitt Report’s Spotlight eZine on Duty Free Americas, is part of the retailer’s wider expansion at the airport, wiht the new T2 to open in coming months. It houses 25 brands (including four kids’ ranges), with an assortment of almost 2,000 facings across luxury, fashion and lifestyle segments.

The boutique features brightly lit displays and prominent in-store digital media highlighting product offers.
