Dublin Airport to celebrate the spirit of Revival with Teeling single malt

Teeling Whiskey’s limited-edition Revival Volume III range will soon be available at Dublin Airport as the Irish whiskey maker celebrates the 18-month anniversary of its distillery opening.

The 46% ABV commemorative malt, the company’s third Revival release since the distillery opened in 2015, will be limited to 10,000 bottles and priced at approximately €120.

The latest bottling consists of 14yo single malt Irish whiskey distilled in 2002, initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being given further maturation in 350-litre ex-Pineau Des Charentes casks.

As well as at Dublin Airport, the whiskey will be available through the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, the Celtic Whiskey Stop and independent off licences across Ireland. The plan is to roll it out to international markets such as the UK, Germany and Italy in due course.

Founder and Managing Director of the Teeling Whiskey Company Jack Teeling said: “It is hard to believe we are just 18 months away from having Irish whiskey distilled from our new distillery in Dublin and to honour this half-way point we have decided to release something unique to mark the occasion with the first-ever Pineau des Charentes-finished Irish whiskey.”

Teeling picked up a number of accolades for its whiskeys making last year, including a Gold medal for its Revival Single Malt Volume II in the Spirit’s Masters Awards 2016.
