UAE. Dubai Duty Free has received a Silver award for CSR Leadership at the 12th Annual Global CSR Summit and Awards.
The travel retailer was one of 48 companies awarded top honours in the 14 main award categories, in an event organised by Pinnacle Group International. Dubai Duty Free was recognised for its commitment to sustainability and promotion of environmental protection within and outside the organisation.

The Global CSR Summit and Awards is billed as Asia’s most prestigious awards programme for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The programme recognises and honours companies for related outstanding, innovative and world-class products, services, projects and programmes implemented in the past or present.
Dubai Duty Free has won four other awards at the event in recent years. They were for the CSR Leadership Award (Gold) in 2017, the Best Environmental Excellence Award (Bronze) in 2017 and 2018, and Best Community Programme Award (Bronze) in 2019.
This year’s Annual Global CSR Summit and Awards had been originally scheduled to take place on 5 March at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi in Vietnam. The event was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the 2020 winners recently being announced online.
The Annual Global CSR Summit and Awards will return next year on 24 March at the same Vietnamese venue under the theme “Rebuilding Towards Resilience”.
