Diverse Flavours to distribute selected Kleinood Estate wines in duty free

Diverse Flavours has formed a new partnership with Kleinood Estate to distribute and develop its small boutique range of wine in duty free and the Middle East and Asia Pacific domestic markets.

Kleinood is situated in the Helderberg area near Stellenbosch in South Africa, where the area is renowned for its warm days and cool nights. The estate has 22 hectares, with grape varieties grown mainly of Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne and Mourvèdre.

Tamboerskloof Syrah and Viognier
The name Tamboerskloof means the valley (kloof) of the drums (tamboer)

Diverse Flavours will distribute the following Tamboerskloof wines:

Tamboerskloof syrah – a syrah which has black olive and clove on the nose and a core of red fruits.

Tamboerskloof viognier – the wine offers peach and apricot flavours which are complemented by acidity on the finish. It will be poured to ANA First Class customers later this year.

Tamboerskloof Katharien rosé – a syrah wine which was voted ‘Top Rosé in South Africa’ at the Rosé Rocks competition.

Diverse Flavours Managing Director Anthony Budd said: “We are thrilled to add the Kleinood Estate to our portfolio of premium wines. The portfolio is small – a Syrah, Viognier and rosé (Syrah) – with many accolades and awards. These are top rated wines at a very competitive price that can give operators good margin and build the reputation for South African premium brands. As a small boutique producer we can offer a limited supply to duty free so it’s first come first served.”

The Tamboerskloof wines will be showcased alongside Delaire Graff Estate wines at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand D34).
