“Disrupting fragrance design”: L’Oréal unveils Cacharel ‘Yes I Am’ eau de parfum

L’Oréal Travel Retail has extended the Cacharel perfume line with new ‘Yes I Am’. The lipstick-shaped bottle is available now in travel retail Europe, Middle East, Africa & India and will roll out to travel retail Americas in June.

The scent has a recommended public price point of €69 for 50ml and €89 for 75ml.

Yes I Am eau de parfum, said to be the first spicy cremoso scent, is based on the spicy, creamy contrast of cream of cardamom. Other key fragrance notes include raspberry and mandarin accords, jasmine, gardenia and sandalwood.

L’Oréal described the quirky Yes I Am as “a fragrance to stand out in a room of fragrances”

The fragrance is housed in an oversized lipstick-shaped bottle in shades of red, gold and black. The perfume is released through a complex system, comprising seven separate pieces.

The perfume’s creators Honorine Blanc and Christophe Raynaud said: “Cacharel speaks to young women, giving them ways to express their singularity and assumed femininity. The maison has always known how to evoke this idea of youth and liberty. Yes I Am is infinitely Cacharel, at once innocent and sexy thanks to its signature highly addictive gourmand feminine scents.”

“A manifestation of empowerment”: Yes I Am introduces an innovative bottle design and a new olfactory signature for Cacharel

Ethiopian/British singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu stars in the Yes I Am film. It depicts Bizu climbing to the rooftops of a city to her song White Tiger, which has been streamed 30 million times.

Cacharel’s other key fragrance launches include Anaïs Anaïs and Amor Amor.
