PANAMA. Dior Travel Retail Americas and Motta Internacional have opened the first Dior Beauty boutique in a Central American airport, at Tocumen International Terminal 2.
The luxury boutique, which opened on 18 November, is located in the Attenza Duty Free store, which opened recently in the new T2. It houses the full range of Dior Beauty products and features services such as a virtual try-on tool and the latest generation engraving machine to enable purchases to be turned into gifts.
For the first time in a North or Central American airport and in Panama (across all channels), the offer includes La Collection Privée, the exclusive Dior universe that features a fragrance line, soaps, body creams and candles.
The store also offers a selection of Mitzah scarves from the Dior Couture collection alongside fragrances from the House of Dior such as Miss Dior, J’Adore and Sauvage. Makeup consultations allow travellers to discover the diverse skincare range, which includes Capture Totale and Prestige.
At the inauguration ceremony, LVMH Beauty Vice President for Travel Retail Americas Catherine Sauvage said that the boutique showcases “the best offers and services that the House of Dior Beauty can propose”. She said that Tocumen Terminal 2 represents “a perfect location in the Americas to welcome such a luxurious store”, noting that it is a key gateway to the region.
Motta Internacional CEO Erasmo Orillac commented: “We are delighted to be inaugurating the Dior Beauty Boutique in Tocumen Terminal 2. Dior and Motta Internacional have been working together for over 60 years, and I am confident that this boutique will play an important role in continuing to strengthen the Dior brand in our region.”
