SINGAPORE. Plaza Premium Group has introduced pool-side dining at its Singapore Changi Aerotel hotel.
The Terminal 1 property is said to be the world’s first transit hotel with an outdoor swimming pool, complete with sun loungers and a pool bar.
Its menu, available from 10.30am until late, includes fresh juices, milkshakes and cocktails; Caesar and Garden salads, fried chicken wings and fresh fruit platters are also available. Breakfast is served from 6am to 10.30am by the pool area or in the hotel’s library and lounge area.
Aerotel Singapore has 70 rooms which are available on an hourly room rate. Its outdoor pool – open from 6am until 12pm – jacuzzi, fitness corner and snack services are available to Plaza Premium Lounge customers for SG$17 (US$12.30).
