Special-edition and heritage bottle displays take visitors on a journey through Johnnie Walker’s history. Visitors can also take part in tastings at the store’s bar.

The store offers a range of Scotch whiskies for consumers to discover, including The Singleton, Talisker, Oban, Lagavulin and some of Johnnie Walker’s Special Release malts.

Duty Free Americas President Leon Falic commented: “We are excited to partner with Diageo to open the first Johnnie Walker Store in the Americas. This stunning whisky emporium has created an immersive luxury retail experience for our consumers looking to purchase and experience something extra special.

Diageo Global Travel Managing Director Dayalan Nayager said: “I would like to thank our partners at Duty Free Americas and Miami International Airport for this collaboration. Miami International Airport is the largest gateway between the USA and Latin America with over 21 million passengers travelling through it last year alone.

“This has made it a vital place for the super deluxe Scotch whisky category and therefore the ideal location for the opening of this luxury Johnnie Walker store. Designed to educate and inspire travellers, this store offers an interactive shopping experience that explores the history and pioneering spirit of this much-loved brand.”

Johnnie Walker has created a limited-edition bottle inspired by the new location. The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Miami Edition, created by local Miami illustrator Ernesto Maranje, brings to life the brand’s journey from Kilmarnock in Scotland to Miami through a series of hand-drawn illustrations.
