Delhi Duty Free captures leading honours at Indian drinks industry awards

INDIA. Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) has claimed three honours at the annual Spiritz Achievers Awards, hosted by Spiritz magazine, which covers the Indian drinks industry.

Delhi Duty Free was named Travel Retailer of the Year and won two awards for brand launches in partnership with William Grant & Sons (Glenfiddich 30 Year Old) and Bacardi (Bombay Bramble).

The awards were hosted at The Leela Palace Hotel in Gurugram on 16 November, with many leading Indian drinks retailers and brand owners present. Some 14 awards were made at a ceremony which followed a one-day ‘Think Pad’ conference.

The awards add further profile to Delhi Duty Free and enhance the reputation of travel retail as a key channel for the drinks business in India

Delhi Duty Free CEO Ashish Chopra said: “This acknowledges our dedication to leading innovation and providing exceptional customer service through partnerships with our suppliers.

He added that Delhi Duty Free was proud of the outstanding contribution of its teams in bouncing back after the pandemic, and said that the awards paid testimony to their hard work and dedication.
