Davidoff has added new Grand Cru Robusto and Aniversario Short Perfecto formats to the 702 Series. Both will launch globally, except in the USA, from April for a few months only.
The Davidoff 702 Grand Cru Robusto offers aromas of cream and oak at the start. The cigar then produces aromas of leather, fresh spices, citrus and hazelnut before ending with more intense fresh spices and creamy notes.
Davidoff 702 Aniversario Short Perfecto starts with ‘intense’ creamy and woody notes, deriving from the wrapper and binder, followed by leathery, black pepper and nutty aromas. The cigar finishes with a “silky smooth” flavour.
Both editions feature a 702 habano wrapper from Ecuador, Piloto Visus binder from Dominican Republic and filler tobaccos from San Vicente Visus, Piloto Seco and Olor Seco, Dominican Republic.
The Grand Cru Robusto measures 13.3cm in length and can be enjoyed in 45 minutes. The Aniversario Short Perfecto is 12.4cm in length and can be enjoyed in 25 minutes.
The two new cigar formats join the existing 702 Series range: Aniversario Special R, Aniversario No. 3, Aniversario Entreacto.
