Cyril Camus named Top Family Business Leader at European Families in Business Awards

Cyril Camus, President of Cognac house Camus, was voted Top Family Business Leader at the sixth European Families in Business Awards organised by Campden FB in association with Société Générale Private Banking.

The awards ceremony was held at the end of a gala dinner that concluded the first of a two-day conference attended by Europe’s most prestigious family owned enterprises. 31 finalists, chosen from a shortlist of 200 nominees, attended the gala dinner at the 16th century Lobkowicz Palace, in Prague, Czech Republic.

Camus was founded in 1863 by Cyril Camus’s great-great-grandfather

Cyril Camus said: “I am very moved and surprised to receive this award. Being a family business is an inheritance, and means putting social impact before purely financial growth.”

The commendation comes a few months after Camus received the Living Heritage Enterprise label and Cyril Camus received the French National Order of the Legion of Honour.
