Crystal Head Vodka and Gebr. Heinemann partner in roll-out of limited-edition artist series

Crystal Head Vodka is collaborating with Gebr. Heinemann in the travel retail roll-out of the first item in a limited-edition John Alexander artist series.

Renowned US artist John Alexander created the original Crystal Head skull bottle. His work can be found in museums across the USA, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and other private collections worldwide.

As reported, Dufry was the first retailer to offer the collectible, which is exclusive to travel retail until August, in select North American airports. Gebr. Heinemann is rolling out the range in Istanbul, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Vienna airports.

25,000 of the John Alexander Artist Series No.1 bottles have been produced, including 700ml and 750ml sizes. The suggested retail price is US$149.95.

Alexander is known as a painter of environmentally-conscious landscapes and satirical figurative work. The bottle finish is derived from Alexander’s 1988 oil painting Dancing on the Water Lilies of Life, which is on display in the Dallas Museum of Art.

Crystal Head Vodka is additive-free and crafted using high-quality ‘peaches and cream’ sweet corn. It is blended with water from St. John’s, Newfoundland and four times distilled before being filtered seven times (including three times over 10,000 Herkimer diamonds).
