Crafting a coffee experience: HMSHost opens 8th & Roast at Nashville Airport

USA. HMSHost has opened an 8th & Roast Coffee Co. at Nashville International Airport Concourse C.

A renowned feature of Nashville’s 8th Avenue/Melrose neighbourhood, 8th & Roast offers house-roasted coffee and espresso, sandwiches, soups, salads and pastries. Signature menu items, including burritos, muffins, scones, vegan and vegetarian dishes, are also available at the airport outlet.

HMSHost Vice President Business Development Kent Vanden Oever said: “HMSHost is thrilled to bring 8th & Roast to Nashville travellers with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.

“It is exciting to continue to blur the line between the airport and the local community with great Nashville-based food & beverage companies.”

8th & Roast began serving Nashville in 2009 as a coffeehouse with a carefully-crafted espresso and coffee programme. The business also operates as a craft coffee roaster, producing in-house roasted coffee for wholesale customers.

“8th & Roast’s coffee is hand-selected and acquired directly through producing country supply chains. The team secures the best quality coffees at harvest and maintains that quality all the way to the cup,” the company stated.

“We appreciate the opportunity to expose thousands of daily travellers to the craft coffee experience. 8th & Roast is known for providing quality products for people on the go, so travellers to and from Nashville can count on fresh, delicious offerings and coffee that’s been roasted and brewed with care.”

Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority President and CEO Doug Kreulen added: “We are delighted to welcome another local restaurant to Nashville International Airport – 8th & Roast Coffee Co., operated by our long-time partner, HMSHost.
