UAE. Fine wine and luxury spirits retailer Le Clos has sold 29 bottles of The Macallan 18yo vertical collection at Dubai International. The purchase comes three months after a record-breaking, US$500,000 sale of The Macallan Fine and Rare collection in December 2016 at the same store.
This latest collection houses every vintage of The Macallan 18yo, also known as ‘The Iconic Macallan’ spanning 1958 to 1986. The Macallan 18yo has become a highly-invested product, showing some of the greatest returns in value of any single malt, according to the brand owner.
