Copenhagen Airport travellers get lucky with Chanel’s daring Chance activation

Chanel has partnered with Gebr Heinemann and Copenhagen Airport for an activation celebrating its Chance perfumes and new eau de parfum Chance Eau Tendre.

The 130sq m space is dedicated to Chance-related beauty services and is running throughout June in Heinemann’s duty free store in international departures at Copenhagen Airport.

Daring to do: Chanel’s Chance line now features Eau Tendre, which was created by perfumer-creator Olivier Polge.

Exclusive animations and interactive elements aim to create a memorable experience, the partners said.

Travellers can spin a Chanel ‘olfactory wheel of fortune’ to discover their favourite fragrance, while beauty services that have been specifically designed for travellers are being offered by Chanel beauty consultants.

A Chance photocall allows passengers to create a bespoke souvenir, while a ‘Ride to Gate’ experience features Chanel-customised bicycles.

The Chance line is based on brand founder Gabrielle Chanel’s philosophy of daring to take a chance when one presents itself, and seeing the concept of chance as “a way of being”.

“Attentive to all the signs that marked her path, [she was] a woman who loved chance encounters and the unexpected, she smiled at fortune and fortune smiled on her in return,” the brand stated.
