Rones de Guatemala’s limited edition Ron Zacapa 30 Aniversario rum |
GUATEMALA. Rones de Guatemala is celebrating 30 years in business with a new listing onboard Copa Airlines.
The company, which produces a range of premium and super premium aged rums, said it is also currently in negotiations with Sunrise Corp (Shanghai and Beijing Airports), DFS, London Supply, Japan Duty Free and Dufry.
The premium and super premium rum categories in travel retail are growing – and, said the company – are highly profitable.
Launches and accolades
Rones de Guatemala’s latest launch is a limited edition Zacapa Centenario super premium rum – Ron Zacapa 30 Aniversario – with a glass exclusively designed for it. Last year, the brand was awarded two industry accolades: Highly Commended in the category of Star Product of the Year at the Frontier Awards, and Best New Product within the liquor category at the Raven Fox Awards.
Roberto Garcia Botran, President of the Administration Council of Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala said at the time: “The vision and work of the entire team of Rones de Guatemala has been fundamental to this achievement.”
