Concession Planning International opens registration for commercial airport course

UK. Concession Planning International (CPI) has opened registration for its bi-annual Airport Commercial Development and Management Course.

The event will be held in the UK from 29 October to 1 November 2018. It will explore the fundamentals of optimising non-aeronautical revenue, CPI said.

Session topics include: maximising the passenger flow from a commercial perspective; terminal and store design; retail and food & beverage layout and mix development; sales and revenue forecasting; and the tendering process and contract models.

CPI said the course was recognised as the gold standard for airport commercial training.

CPI said the event would also examine the importance of understanding the customer through research and segmentation. It will also address ways to engage with customers through marketing and branding, advertising, digital and mobile technology.

The Airport Commercial Development and Management Course combines lectures from CPI partners Susan Gray and Jeremy Corfield with guest lecturers from London Heathrow and Stansted airports and Gebr Heinemann.

The course is fully residential and costs £3,150 per person inclusive of accommodation. Discounts apply for organisations registering more than one delegate.

This year’s course programme and registration form can be downloaded from the CPI website at: http://concession-planning.com/uk.
